Service attendance is a MANDATORY part of Hebrew school.
The minimum requirements are as follows:
4th grade once per month
5th & 6th grades 2x per month (try to make one a Friday, one on a Shabbat)
7th grade 3x per month (2 on Shabbat)
Attendance at Rosh Hashanna & Yom Kippur services will count toward the service requirement.
